I Don't Feel Like Eating

If you are not well you might not feel like eating. Your body still needs energy. You might find it easier to take sugary drinks instead of food.

Some examples

  • Lucozade - A small bottle of lucozade =380mls or about 3 small glassfuls. One small glass of lucozade would be about the equivalent of 2 slices of white bread.
  • Fruit Juice - A small glass = 120mls would be about 1.5 slices of bread
  • Coke - (but not diet coke). A small glass about 120 mls = about 1.5 slices of bread
  • Milk - About 2 small glasses = 1.5 slices of bread
  • Diluting Juice - (such as full sugar Ribena), 1 tablespoon (before diluted) = about 1 slice of bread
  • Ice Cream - One scoop of ice cream
  • Yoghurt - but not low sugar
  • Jelly - but not sugar free

You don't need to consume your drink all in one go, you can sip your juice slowly throughout the day.
